We are a team of HCPC registered and experienced music therapists based in Cornwall working for the Cornwall Music Service Trust. We work with a wide variety of client groups and use client centred and psychodynamically informed music therapy practice to support them.
Some careful thought has gone into this Wellbeing pack to present self-led activities using music to support your wellbeing which can be delivered online.
You may, or may not, enjoy all the activities as you work through each part of the Wellbeing pack but you are most likely to find the self-led sessions beneficial if you work through each section from start to finish. So find a quiet space where you are unlikely to be interrupted and set aside an hour of your time to focus on yourself. If there is a part you’re not sure about, or an activity makes you feel uncomfortable, please don’t force yourself to do something. Just take a moment to reflect on what that might be telling you about yourself.
We hope that overall you will find these activities interesting and that there may be moments of reflection, fun, relaxation and self expression as you work your way through. You’ll notice that each part of the Wellbeing pack is called a “lesson” and that you can mark each one complete as you go through the activities. You don’t have to do this but it may help your navigation through the various sections if you do. If you do mark sections complete you will see a progress bar which will gradually fill up.
