In the first lesson you’ll find out how to play a C major triad. “Triad” means it has three notes. You might also know this as a “chord” of C major.
You’ll also find out how to count in semitones to make a chord on any other note:
- The major 3rd is 4 semitones above the root note.
- The 5th is 3 semitones above the major 3rd.
